Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable REST-based microservices and integration models.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement REST-based microservices capable of scaling to millions of requests.
  • Translate business requirements into technical microservices and integration models.
  • Build security models for microservices including access control, policies, and authentication.
  • Design deployment models for microservices and integration across various channels.
  • Communicate technical designs to executive teams.

Required Skills

  • 9+ years of software engineering experience with progression to a Lead role.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Tech Lead focusing on APIs and integration layers.
  • 5+ years of experience building REST-based APIs using .NET Web API.
  • 3+ years of experience with .NET Core 3.1 or .NET 6.
  • 3+ years of experience building applications on the Azure platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos, Azure Redis, or Azure Event Hub.
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure API Gateway, and Azure APIM.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and releases, and creating resources via ARM templates.
  • Experience with xUnit or NUnit, mocking frameworks (Moq, AutoFac, or NSubstitute), and Fluent Validation.
  • 2+ years of experience with SSO integration (ForgeRock, Ping Identity, or Okta) and Auth Token consumption (OAuth, SAML, or JWT).
  • Strong understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and NuGet dependency management.
  • Knowledge of deploying microservices in Azure environments, including Azure Fabrics or AKS.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure Fabrics.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
