Description

Lead the technical direction for API development and integration layers, owning the design, implementation, and release of cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop REST-based APIs and microservices architectures using .NET.
• Develop, deploy, and manage Azure Functions, App Services, and cloud-native resources.
• Implement design patterns and SOLID principles to ensure system scalability and maintainability.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and releases using Azure DevOps.
• Configure API management policies and manage NuGet dependencies for microservices.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with a progression to Lead roles.
• 6+ years of experience as a Tech Lead focusing on APIs and integration layers.
• 5+ years of experience building REST APIs using .NET Web API.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Core 3.1 and .NET 6.
• 3+ years of experience building applications on the Azure platform.
• Proficiency with Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos, Azure Redis, and Azure Event Hub.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grids, API Gateway, and API Management (APIM).
• Experience using ARM templates for resource creation.
• Proficiency with xUnit or NUnit, mocking frameworks (Moq, AutoFac, or NSubstitute), and Fluent Validation.
• 2+ years of experience with SSO integration (ForgeRock, Ping Identity, or Okta) and Auth Token consumption (OAuth, SAML, or JWT).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of deploying microservices via Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Fabrics.
