Description

You will build and maintain web applications across legacy and modern .NET platforms, including RESTful APIs and rich UI components.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC 5, .NET Core 8, and .NET Framework 4.8.
• Build RESTful APIs with middleware, dependency injection, and minimal APIs in .NET Core.
• Debug and enhance legacy codebases written in VB.NET.
• Create interactive UI components using Kendo UI widgets.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and manage data across SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET (MVC 5 and Core 8).
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core 6/7/8 and .NET Framework 4.8.
• Ability to work with VB.NET for legacy system maintenance.
• Strong frontend skills in JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Kendo UI (jQuery and MVC wrappers).
• Expertise in SQL Server, including indexing and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of Oracle and DB2 RDBMS.
• Experience with Git version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, or ADO.NET.
• Knowledge of Web API security and versioning.
• Experience writing unit tests for front-end and back-end code.
