Description

You will design, develop, test, and maintain .NET and GIS applications for watershed management services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features using the Microsoft .NET Framework and MVC.
• Develop web APIs and SSRS reports to support application requirements.
• Write and optimize SQL and stored procedures for Oracle backend databases.
• Execute testing tasks, including scenario identification, data setup, and result documentation.
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of application development experience within the Microsoft .NET Framework.
• 8+ years of coding experience with C#, VB.Net, MVC, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle backend databases, including SQL and stored procedures.
• 2 years of experience with GIS, specifically Esri JavaScript APIs.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for version control, repositories, and deployments.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design and standard security methods for custom applications.
• Experience following the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and IT best practices.
• Bachelor's degree.

• Experience writing technical documentation.
• Experience with SharePoint.
• Prior experience working at a government agency.
