Description

Lead the migration of Front Office Windows applications from .NET Framework to .NET 8.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing Windows applications from .NET Framework to .NET 8.
• Refactor and implement multithreaded solutions to improve application performance.
• Develop and maintain Windows Services for background processing.
• Work with Excel Interop, XML processing, and serialization for data exchange.
• Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using Git and TeamCity.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in C#, WinForms, and WPF.
• Hands-on experience with .NET 8 and .NET 7.
• Deep knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing (TPL, async/await, locks).
• Proficiency in SQL Server and optimizing queries/stored procedures.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably TeamCity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for automation or data processing.
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud integration.
