You will manage and support NetApp storage environments with a focus on ONTAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage NetApp storage, primarily using ONTAP.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to NetApp storage, connectivity, and performance.
- Coordinate the hardware RMA process, including the logistics of returning and replacing faulty components.
- Collaborate with NetApp support to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communicate technical updates to clients and maintain internal reporting.
Required Skills
- 3-7 years of experience in NetApp storage support.
- Hands-on experience with deploying and managing NetApp storage.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting storage and network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of storage protocols including NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and FC.
- Experience with NetApp data protection solutions such as SnapMirror and SnapVault.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure related to storage.
- Ability to manage hardware return and replace processes.
Preferred Skills
- NetApp ASE2 or ASE3 (Authorized Service Engineer) certification.
- Additional storage or networking certifications such as NCDA or NCSA.
