Description

You will manage and support NetApp storage environments with a focus on ONTAP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage NetApp storage, primarily using ONTAP.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to NetApp storage, connectivity, and performance.
  • Coordinate the hardware RMA process, including the logistics of returning and replacing faulty components.
  • Collaborate with NetApp support to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communicate technical updates to clients and maintain internal reporting.

Required Skills

  • 3-7 years of experience in NetApp storage support.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying and managing NetApp storage.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting storage and network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of storage protocols including NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and FC.
  • Experience with NetApp data protection solutions such as SnapMirror and SnapVault.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure related to storage.
  • Ability to manage hardware return and replace processes.

Preferred Skills

  • NetApp ASE2 or ASE3 (Authorized Service Engineer) certification.
  • Additional storage or networking certifications such as NCDA or NCSA.
