Description

You will own NetApp block and file storage environments, with a primary focus on executing data migration projects between data centers.

Responsibilities

• Execute migration of file data from Colorado data centers to Columbus data centers.
• Manage NetApp file disk pools using 4 TB SATA disks and RAID-DP configuration.
• Maintain SMB shares and handle file permissioning within a domain environment.
• Oversee storage for the ImageRight application, managing high volumes of small files.
• Manage data transfers over limited outbound bandwidth.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with NetApp storage systems.
• Hands-on experience with RAID-DP (double parity).
• Experience managing large-scale file data sets with high file counts.
• Proficiency with SMB protocol and share management.
• Knowledge of ImageRight application storage requirements.
• Understanding of NFS protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale data migrations between data centers.
