Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain NetApp storage solutions including ONTAP, Cloud Volume ONTAP, and Azure NetApp Files.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support NetApp ONTAP environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Plan, lead, and execute data migrations and baseline transfers using SnapMirror.
• Provision storage by creating volumes, mapping LUNs, and configuring NAS shares for OS-level availability.
• Configure SVM-to-SVM data protection, secure cluster/SVM peering, and manage scheduled incremental updates for disaster recovery.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, forecasting, and execute SVM failover and reactivation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with NetApp ONTAP environments.
• Deep expertise in SnapMirror, Active IQ, and NetApp System Manager.
• Strong understanding of SAN/NAS protocols including NFS, SMB/CIFS, and FC.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Volume ONTAP and Azure NetApp Files.
• Proven ability to execute complex data migrations and manage storage provisioning.
• Solid background in performance troubleshooting and capacity management.
• Ability to work independently with strong teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SVM failover procedures and reactivation of primary systems.
