Lead the design and implementation of highly scalable, resilient, and event-driven applications using .NET, Kafka, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
Build and modernize high-volume services, APIs, and distributed application capabilities supporting reliable transaction processing and business-critical workflows.
Partner with architects, product owners, developers, and adjacent technology teams to convert business capabilities into high-quality technical solutions.
Utilize GenAI coding assistants to accelerate implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression support, code reviews, scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation while maintaining ownership for correctness and quality.
Drive engineering quality through automated testing, code review discipline, performance analysis, observability, resiliency design, and production readiness practices.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience developing scalable, high-performance .NET, cloud-based, and web services applications supporting high-volume transactions.
Demonstrated experience leading the design and implementation of highly scalable, resilient, and event-driven applications using .NET and Kafka, with strong knowledge of distributed systems, stream processing, and cloud-native architectures.
Working experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, Splunk, JSON/XML, caching, performance analysis, and profiling, Twelve-Factor App methodology, resiliency patterns, and observability patterns.
Experience as a technical lead for a team and/or project, with 6+ years of building and deploying cloud-native applications using GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD practices
