Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, event-driven applications using .NET, Kafka, and cloud-native patterns.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and modernize high-volume services, APIs, and distributed systems for reliable transaction processing.
• Design resilient architectures using Kafka and IBM MQ for event-driven stream processing.
• Drive engineering quality through automated testing, code reviews, performance profiling, and observability.
• Utilize GenAI coding assistants to accelerate implementation, refactoring, and documentation while maintaining code correctness.
• Partner with product owners and architects to translate business capabilities into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with .NET and cloud-based web services.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and Twelve-Factor App methodology.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Kafka and IBM MQ for message streaming and integration.
• Working experience with Splunk, JSON/XML, caching, and performance analysis tools.
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience guiding teams or projects.
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
