Job Summary

Philips 66 is looking for a NetDevOps Engineer who combines expertise in network engineering, Linux administration, and automation. The role focuses on automating network operations, building CI/CD pipelines, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure across multiple vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support automated network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Python-based network automation solutions.
• Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Work with Network, Systems, and DevOps teams to integrate networking into DevOps processes.
• Support and optimize SD-WAN environments (preferred).
• Troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and automation best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Networking

• Strong enterprise networking experience in multi-vendor environments such as:
• Cisco
• Juniper
• Arista
• Good understanding of:
• TCP/IP
• Routing
• Switching
• Network services

Linux

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Automation & DevOps

• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.

Collaboration

• Ability to work effectively in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Comfortable collaborating across Network, Systems, and DevOps teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
