You will manage and engineer network infrastructure within a mid-sized environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Cisco routers, switches, and access points at Layer 2 and Layer 3.
• Manage VPN support and Cisco WLC operations.
• Maintain Cisco Firepower and legacy ASA configurations.
• Execute Cisco IOS commands, including router/switch setups, backups, and recovery.
• Administer Unified Communications and network access control via 802.1X PEAP.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Cisco networking, including switches, routers, firewalls, and APs.
• Proficiency in IP routing protocols: BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, and inter-AS routing.
• Hands-on experience with MPLS (L2/L3 VPN/VRF-Lite), MPLS-TE, and QoS.
• Deep knowledge of LAN switching: RPVST+, MST, and NetFlow.
• Experience with Cisco Umbrella, IDS/IPS, and Cisco ISE.
• Technical familiarity with IPv6, IP SLAs, PIM, DMVPN, and GETVPN.
• Practical application of NIST 800.XX and Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA).
• USC citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

• CCIE in Route & Switch or Service Provider.
• Experience with Nexus 9K/Nexus family, VMware ESX, Python, Linux, or network design.
