Description

You will provide foundational technical support and administration for LAN, WAN, and Internet systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 1 network support requests and connection issues between users and resources.
• Handle break/fix requests and assist with configuring and deploying new network hardware and communications infrastructure.
• Monitor network resources for faults, traffic anomalies, and availability.
• Maintain project documentation, architecture diagrams, inventory, and change histories.
• Support ITS Field Maintenance with communications implementation and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in network administration or a related field.
• Proficiency with LAN and WAN configurations and maintenance.
• Experience with network hardware installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage and document network changes and inventory records.
• Support cybersecurity controls, threat hunting, and mitigation efforts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with teammates and customers.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
