Manage and support the organization's LAN, WAN, and internet systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software to ensure system availability.
• Perform network tuning and capacity planning to enhance resource performance.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network problems and service requests.
• Direct projects involving multiple resources, including planning, organizing, and task coordination.
• Analyze network utilization statistics and system procedures for efficiency improvements.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in network administration and system usage studies.
• 8 years of experience in performance tuning and capacity planning.
• 8 years of experience directing complex projects and coordinating multiple resources.
• 8 years of experience in troubleshooting complex network problems and incident resolution.
• 4 years of experience providing technical leadership for network system plans.
• 4 years of experience in evaluating network technologies and hardware/software acquisition.
• 4 years of experience in determining operational and technical requirements for data communications.
• Proficiency in managing network hardware and software.
• Degree from an accredited four-year college in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Texas State Agency network administrator experience.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
