Description

Manage and support secure network infrastructure and connectivity for multiple agencies, including data center relocation projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, proxy, load balancing, and internet filtering services.
• Manage network access and systems to prevent unauthorized access while ensuring efficient data transmission.
• Plan, schedule, and implement firewall access in conformance with security standards and incident management processes.
• Perform log management, monitoring, and maintain technical documentation of the environment.
• Support agency requests for configuring, updating, and installing new network equipment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network coordination or LAN administration.
• Full-time technical support experience in a complex networking or web hosting environment.
• Hands-on firewall administration experience, specifically with Cisco ASA or Cisco Firepower.
• Proficiency in Unix scripting languages including Perl, Bash, TCL, or cURL.
• Working knowledge of web applications, protocols, and network methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Gigamon.
