Description

You will engineer, design, and troubleshoot enterprise-scale Data Centre networks, serving as the primary escalation point for operating teams during outages.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and design enterprise Data Centre networks, authoring design documents and technical architecture models.
• Participate in weekly design meetings and develop execution and test plans with project managers.
• Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge transfer across the engineering group.
• Serve as the escalation point for operating teams during critical network outages.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in network design engineering.
• CCIE or equivalent certification.
• Expertise in Ethernet technologies: SPT, 802.1Q, VPC, Multi-layer Switching, and Leaf-Spine IP Fabric.
• Proficiency in IP Routing protocols: RIP, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with Multi-cast routing: PIM, IGMP, and MSDP.
• Knowledge of VxLAN.
• Platform knowledge on Cisco Switching & Routing Platforms (Nexus 9000, ASR 1000x, ASR 9000) and Arista Switching platforms.
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR, and Arista EOS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical design discussions.
