Description

You will act as the Subject Matter Expert for the design, implementation, and maintenance of organizational network infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Design network layouts, including hardware selection, IP addressing schemes, and security protocols.
  • Install and configure networking equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Implement security measures to protect the network against unauthorized access, data breaches, and malware.
  • Monitor network performance to identify bottlenecks and optimize configurations for reliability.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in network administration.
  • Expertise in designing network infrastructure.
  • Strong background in network security implementation.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for connectivity and performance issues.
  • Deep understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and best practices.
  • Experience with hardware configuration for routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Ability to provide technical mentorship to other IT staff.

Your role would involve designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer networks within an organization. You'd likely be responsible for tasks such as: 1. Stay updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest networking technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure the network remains secure, efficient, and reliable. As an SME, you would likely be a go-to person within your organization for any network-related questions, problems, or projects. You may also be involved in training and mentoring other network administrators or IT staff.
