Description

You will manage network infrastructure and provide technical support to end users in Normal, IL.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize technical support requests based on business impact.
• Administer help desk tickets and internal IT tasks with high discipline.
• Teach end users how to use new IT technologies and solutions.
• Identify and execute effective technical tasks during low-volume periods.
• Support end users to ensure they have the tools required for their roles.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Systems or Desktop support roles.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN.
• Experience configuring and managing Firewalls.
• Management of wireless Access Points.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and prioritize technical support requests.
• Proven ability to work as a self-starter.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco networking hardware and software experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
