Description

Manage and support Cisco network infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted service.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and WLAN communication problems and hardware issues.
• Install and test communications equipment including cabling, routers, switches, and WiFi.
• Maintain network asset management, component inventory, and technical documentation.
• Identify capacity and performance issues to support proactive maintenance.
• Assist with business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and special engineering projects.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience managing and supporting Cisco network infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco switches and routers.
• Strong understanding of the OSI model and network design.
• Proficiency with LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
• Ability to create clear, accurate technical documentation.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Willingness to participate in a round-robin on-call schedule.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA Route/Switch Certification.
• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Experience with 802.1x implementation and troubleshooting.
