Description

You will serve as a SolarWinds Administrator supporting the implementation, maintenance, and operations of SolarWinds and its supporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and document SolarWinds products including NCM, NPM, Server & Application Monitor ALX, and Orion Enterprise Operations Console in failover mode.
• Integrate pollers across multiple sites and configure alerting thresholds to ensure comprehensive network visibility.
• Design and document system architecture, building custom dashboards and reports to monitor network health.
• Develop and support automation using scripting languages to streamline administrative tasks.
• Create formal documentation for systems administration, operations, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications network problem resolution.
• Hands-on experience with WAN/LAN technologies, network monitoring, and SNMPv3 management tools.
• Proficiency in Linux or Windows System Administration.
• Experience performing network monitoring in virtual environments and troubleshooting VMware issues.
• Knowledge of traffic analysis tools, including NetFlow and NetFlow collectors.
• Ability to run network device discoveries and build logical topologies.
• Experience with SQL and scripting languages such as bash, perl, or python.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow auto-ticketing integration experience.
• Texas State Agency network administrator experience.
• Relevant network certifications.
