Description

Manage SolarWinds infrastructure, ensuring high availability and comprehensive network visibility across multiple sites.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain SolarWinds products (NCM, NPM, SAM ALX, Orion) in failover mode.
• Integrate pollers, configure alerting thresholds, and design system architecture.
• Build custom dashboards and reports to monitor network health.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline administrative tasks.
• Create and maintain formal documentation for systems administration and operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in telecommunications network problem resolution.
• Hands-on experience with WAN/LAN technologies and SNMPv3 management.
• Proficiency in Linux or Windows System Administration.
• Experience monitoring virtual environments and troubleshooting VMware issues.
• Knowledge of traffic analysis tools (NetFlow, NetFlow collectors).
• Ability to run device discoveries and build logical topologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (bash, perl, python).

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow auto-ticketing integration experience.
• Texas State Agency network administrator experience.
