Description

Manage network hub infrastructure and regional operational functions across San Diego and Santiago.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own troubleshooting and resolution of P1 and P2 incidents for the region in coordination with global support teams.
• Execute service management, configuration management, and network change requests.
• Act as the regional point of contact for customers, local vendors, and telco providers.
• Coordinate with regional IT teams to align network infrastructure with future roadmaps.
• Support problem management, service level management, and third-party asset auditing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network operations and infrastructure support.
• Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching, specifically Nexus and Catalyst switches.
• Hands-on administration of Cisco Wireless Technologies and Wireless Controllers.
• Experience with network security products including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Firepower, and Cisco ASA.
• Practical knowledge of F5 Load Balancers, including Forward and Reverse Proxy.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and ISIS.
• Working knowledge of IP addressing, MPLS, VPN, VXLAN, VRRP, HSRP, and STP.
• Experience with network automation tools like Ansible and Python.
• Proficiency using SolarWinds (NPM, NCM, NTA, IPAM) and ITSM tools.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN and SDA technology.
