Description

You will manage and optimize network performance and security using Akamai services within a microservices-based eCommerce environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Akamai CDN, WAF, and DNS to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement web security practices including bot management and DDoS protection.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and performance metrics to drive optimization.
• Integrate Akamai services within a microservices-based eCommerce environment.
• Apply caching strategies and server load reduction techniques to improve web performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network administration or related roles.
• Proficiency in Akamai services, specifically CDN, WAF, and DNS.
• Hands-on experience with DDoS protection and web security practices.
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and caching strategies.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and eCommerce development.
• Ability to provide technical support and analyze network metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with microservices-based eCommerce environments.
