Description

You will manage and secure Cisco network operations, focusing on incident response, protocol troubleshooting, and service provider routing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze log data to identify attack vectors and implement security controls to restore normal operations.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents involving advanced routing, switching, and backbone traffic engineering.
• Investigate and correlate information security issues to generate detailed reports and process documentation.
• Manage service provider routing and switching, including MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, and leased lines.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Cisco platforms and protocols: RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS, and BGP.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, and Express Routing.
• Experience with IAM, TACACS/TACACS+, Active Directory, Kerberos, and SSO.
• Technical knowledge of Fortinet/FortiGate Firewalls and threat intelligence analysis.
• Understanding of storage technologies: SAN, NAS, RAID controls, and backup methods.
• Knowledge of SDWAN and Cisco Meraki products.
• Competency in IEEE physical layers and structured cabling (OFC, Ethernet, Data Centre).
• Familiarity with SOC, EDR, XDR, MDR, SOAR, CERT, and CDP.
• Understanding of ITIL Change Management, SOC2 audit assessments, and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001, COBIT).

Preferred Skills

• CCNAS or CCNP certifications.
