Description

Manage and optimize production systems and retail POS environments. Own the availability and performance of store applications and server domains.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot POS controllers, registers, and associated hardware devices.
• Perform root cause assessments and debugging on server domains to ensure application availability.
• Execute configuration change procedures and create playbooks to maintain quality assurance for store applications.
• Monitor system alerts proactively and provide performance optimization recommendations.
• Coordinate with engineering and support departments to resolve complex application and system issues.

Required Skills

• Experience with POS IBM and TOSHIBA 4690 OS.
• Experience with NCR R10 retail POS systems.
• Proficiency in Linux, Unix, and Windows Servers.
• Strong network troubleshooting skills.
• Hardware troubleshooting skills for POS devices and controllers.
• Ability to manage and evaluate delegated business processes and related applications.
• Bachelor's degree or any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• POS Lab experience and store hardware troubleshooting.
• ITIL certification, Incident Management, JIRA, or ServiceNow.
• Office 365 for reporting and presentations.
