Description

You will manage network equipment implementation, site assessments, and hardware lifecycle tasks.

Responsibilities

• Execute core and edge switch replacements, migrating settings from legacy hardware to new equipment.
• Configure routing, firewall, and NAT policies on internet firewalls.
• Coordinate with vendors for Metro circuit replacements, including pre-field support, staging, and implementation.
• Manage vendor decommissioning of legacy circuits and oversee site preparation for installations.
• Perform physical labor for hardware installation and provide production cutover services outside normal business hours as required.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of recent data networking experience.
• 3+ years of experience with network equipment implementation, planning, and site assessments.
• Proven ability in network issue problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring routing, firewalls, and NAT policies.
• Hands-on experience with core and edge switch migrations.
• Ability to manage vendor coordination for circuit replacements and decommissioning.
• University degree or technical diploma in communications technology or a related field.
• Appropriate vendor network certification.
