Description

You will manage and maintain Unix, Linux, and VMware system administration tasks within a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer Unix, Linux, and Solaris systems including installs, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Manage server builds, decommissionings, and BAU activities.
• Troubleshoot server, software, and hardware issues to ensure system reliability.
• Propose and implement system enhancements and hardware specifications based on growth needs.

Required Skills

• Experience with Unix, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.
• Proficiency in VMware system administration.
• Knowledge of Cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Understanding of storage management and TCP/IP protocols.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to write technical documentation and reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for hardware and software maintenance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
