You will implement, modernize, and manage network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Redesign core and edge infrastructure to improve performance and decommission legacy hardware.
• Execute migrations to Cisco Catalyst and DNA Center for wireless management.
• Transition Cisco ASA firewalls to the Cisco Secure Firewall platform using FMC.
• Plan, design, and document network upgrades, migrations, and best practices.
• Provide Tier 3 technical assistance for complex operational problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Cisco Layer 1-3 networking.
• 5+ years of experience with 802.11 wireless networks.
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco OTV.
• 5+ years of experience with QoS, technical troubleshooting, and documentation.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows.
• Strong working knowledge of IPv6.
• Active CCNA certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and Cisco Identity Services Engine.
• Experience with Alberta SuperNet and Data Centre Core Networks.
• Knowledge of VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
