Description

You will provide network and system administration for local tenant infrastructure on-site at Kirtland AFB.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software, hardware, workstations, and servers.
• Manage network servers, technology tools, and access controls including firewalls and auditing.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot outages under the guidance of the Government IT Lead.
• Implement system upgrades, design solutions, and research server administration recommendations.

Required Skills

• Active TS clearance with SSBIs and eligibility for SCI.
• Minimum DoD 8140 IAT-II (Sec+ CE) certification.
• 2+ years of experience working in a TS processing environment.
• Experience with Active Directory and Windows Deployment Services (WDS).
• Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network principles.
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS commands for network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and related technologies.
• Working knowledge of PowerShell, WMI, and ArcServe backup software.
• Experience maintaining on-site server hardware and software.

Preferred Skills

• Windows Operating System Certifications (MCSA, MCSE, etc.).
• VMware VCP (Data Center or Network Virtualization).
• CCNA certification.
