Description

You will design and implement medium to large scale network infrastructures within an agile team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement technical infrastructure and LAN networks following design specifications and timescale estimates.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, managing third-party engagement for in-depth product troubleshooting.
• Manage systems within SLA requirements, identifying and implementing changes to improve service levels.
• Advise project SMEs on preventive maintenance and configuration adjustments to optimize performance.
• Own the identification of project risks and the delivery of timely workarounds or fixes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network architecture and infrastructure implementation.
• Expertise in two of the following: Junos, Cisco IOS, IPS/IDS (Firepower, SRX, or FortiGate), Cisco ISE, NSX-T, Load balancing (F5 or Citrix), or Cloud networking (AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency in at least two additional network technologies or disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Python for network automation.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Working knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud networking.
• Experience with Visual Basic.
• Proven ability to implement LAN networks and patching independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing third-party vendor relationships for technical troubleshooting.
