Description

You will design and implement network architecture for a WAN SAP cloud landscape, focusing on edge services and global connectivity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design edge services including Internet connectivity, Hyperscaler connections, and secure direct customer links.
• Develop and contribute to WAN services monitoring, automation, and new service creation.
• Participate in a DevOps model, including on-call shifts to support customers.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to deliver network solutions based on specific customer requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of technical experience in cloud, data center, and ISP environments.
• 8+ years of deep knowledge in WAN protocols: BGP, MPLS, and Segment Routing.
• Experience with data center routing, switching, IaaS, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools including Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Programming proficiency in at least two languages, preferably Golang or Python.
• Experience with Linux OS environments and virtualized or containerized infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of hyperscaler technologies.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Fluency in both German and English, written and oral.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Data Center or Service Provider Network fields.
• Knowledge of SSL, IPSec, DMVPN, and DDoS solutions.
• Availability for occasional early shifts.
