Description

You will provide technical expertise for developing and supporting voice and data communication networks, systems, and services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support telecommunication between SC DSS Agency, client/partner endpoints, and the SC data center using Cisco/Meraki products.
• Consult with Agency infrastructure teams to achieve and resolve telecommunication issues between endpoints.
• Analyze systems for performance, reliability, scalability, and security, evaluating the impact of configuration changes.
• Design and implement security countermeasures with Agency Security and Network Services teams to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Mentor less experienced peers and perform tasks efficiently to ensure project success.

• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Firewalls
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco VPN
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Switches
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Routers
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Hardware Administration
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco ISE
• 6+ years of experience with DHCP
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Wireshark
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud and Virtualization
• 6+ years of experience with demonstrated knowledge/skills of IT industry (multi-tiered architectures, emerging technologies, networks, data management systems and hardware systems)
• 6+ years of experience with ability to communicate (orally and written) effectively with technical, non-technical staff, and customers/stakeholders
• 2-4 years of experience Datacenter, Cloud and Network Infrastructure
• 4-6 years of experience Valid Driver’s license
