Description

You will design, implement, and support voice and data communication networks, systems, and services for the SC DSS Agency and partner endpoints.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support telecommunications between SC DSS Agency, client endpoints, and the SC data center using Cisco and Meraki products.
• Consult with Agency infrastructure teams to resolve telecommunication issues and ensure seamless connectivity.
• Analyze systems for performance, reliability, scalability, and security, evaluating the impact of configuration changes.
• Design and implement security countermeasures with Agency Security and Network Services teams to prevent vulnerabilities.
• Mentor less experienced peers and perform tasks efficiently to ensure project success.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Firewalls, Cisco VPN, Cisco Switches, and Cisco Routers.
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Hardware Administration and Cisco ISE.
• 6+ years of experience with DHCP and Cisco Wireshark.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud and Virtualization.
• 6+ years of demonstrated knowledge in IT industry standards, including multi-tiered architectures, networks, and data management systems.
• 2-4 years of experience with Datacenter, Cloud, and Network Infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with technical, non-technical staff, and customers/stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Valid Driver’s license.
