Description

Design, implement, and manage scalable network architectures for a distributed team.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure, reliable network architectures using routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues end-to-end across various endpoints and resolve complex network problems.
• Maintain network performance through proactive monitoring, testing, and infrastructure administration.
• Implement security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS to protect network integrity.
• Document network configurations, processes, and changes while reporting on performance and incidents.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of experience with TCP/IP.
• 4-6 years of experience with Cisco hardware.
• 4-6 years of experience building IaC pipelines and automation.
• 2-4 years of experience with network monitoring tools and technologies.
• Proficiency with networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware such as Cisco and Juniper.
• Working knowledge of security tools including VPNs and IDS/IPS.
• CCNA certification.
• Ability to guide teams through end-to-end troubleshooting processes.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of total working experience in network architecture.
