Description

You will design and manage enterprise infrastructure, virtualization architecture, and network configurations for on-premises and cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy VMware vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN environments using Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Configure and optimize network settings including VLANs, MTU, distributed switches, and VMkernel networking.
• Plan and execute migrations from legacy virtualization platforms and Nutanix to modernized infrastructure.
• Coordinate multi-site infrastructure standardization and implement data protection strategies.
• Manage large-scale infrastructure projects involving Lenovo server platforms and vSAN Ready Nodes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure and virtualization architecture experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN.
• Expert-level knowledge of storage architecture, performance optimization, and data protection.
• Proficiency with Terraform for on-premises and cloud infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of network configuration (VLANs, MTU, distributed switches).
• Experience with Nutanix and legacy virtualization platforms for migration planning.
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware NSX networking and security.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring/observability tools.
