Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and analysis of SD-WAN site deployments and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and analysis to document current device status and provide hardware recommendations.
• Configure Cisco edge routers, switches, access points, and SD-WAN controller elements including vBond, vSmart, and vManage in HA environments.
• Manage SD-WAN templates, control connections, PNP portals, BFD, and IPsec/SIG tunnels.
• Execute LLD and HLD creation, updates, and accurate documentation of all activation activities.
• Collaborate with remote technicians to install white box solutions, vNFs, and hardware components like Riverbed WAN Accelerators and wireless netgates.
• Troubleshoot network build issues and provide technical input for root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in network architecture and implementation.
• Expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela is required; Velocloud or Versa is desirable).
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, OMP, and BFD.
• Hands-on experience with L3VPN/L2VPN, VRF, VRRP, and QoS/MPLS.
• Proficiency in SD-WAN multi-cloud environments, including Azure ExpressRoute and Cloud OnRamp.
• Strong understanding of security protocols such as DTLS, IPsec, Zone-based firewalls, IPS, AMP, and Umbrella.
• Experience with Cisco cEdge and vEdge router onboarding.
• Demonstrated CCNP, CCNP SP (CCIIP), or CCIE level knowledge.
• Technical proficiency with NetConf, NMS, and OSS/BSS protocols.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, Cisco switches, and scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Wireless and SD-Access knowledge.
• Certifications in Juniper or F5.
