Description

Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Cisco SD-WAN architectures for enterprise environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design SD-WAN solutions using MPLS, Internet, broadband, LTE/5G, and hybrid WAN transports.
• Define control, data, and management plane architecture using vManage, vBond, vSmart, and WAN Edge routers.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot SD-WAN edge platforms including Catalyst 8000/8500 and ISR/ASR devices.
• Design WAN/LAN integration, including routing, segmentation, and physical handoff validation.
• Develop migration plans from legacy WAN to modern SD-WAN architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network architecture and engineering.
• Deep expertise in Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) architecture and deployment.
• Proficiency in advanced routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP.
• Experience with MPLS, L3VPN, L2VPN, VRF segmentation, and carrier Ethernet.
• Automation skills using Ansible, Python, and REST APIs.
• Version control proficiency with Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-availability and resiliency design patterns.
• Knowledge of physical layer troubleshooting (fiber, optics, transceivers).
