Description

Design and optimize scalable network infrastructure for high availability, performance, and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement active-active architectures, high-availability solutions, and disaster recovery plans.
• Configure and manage routing protocols and Network Load Balancers (F5) to optimize traffic flow.
• Analyze DNS, proxy, and network configurations to identify and resolve latency and bottlenecks.
• Implement network security architecture including firewalls, DMZs, and IDS/IPS.
• Establish performance benchmarks, define NFRs, and conduct regular disaster recovery drills.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in network design, performance optimization, and security.
• Expertise in routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with F5 Network Load Balancers.
• Proficiency with firewalls such as Cisco ASA and Palo Alto.
• Experience implementing IDS/IPS and security threat mitigation strategies.
• Practical knowledge of high availability solutions, clustering, and replication.
• Ability to use performance testing tools like NeoLoad, DynaTrace, and iperf.
• Experience defining RTOs and RPOs for critical system disaster recovery.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with asset tiering strategies for resource optimization.
• Ability to deliver technical performance test reports to stakeholders.
