Description

You will architect the backbone infrastructure for a high-fidelity aircraft simulator supporting DoD requirements. You build and maintain networking systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Architect core infrastructure including Active Directory, Microsoft stack, SAN, backup, and VMware environments.
• Lead the design, selection, and procurement process for all necessary hardware and software.
• Deploy and configure tactical control center (TCC) work positions and TFAT trainer computers for pilots and gunners.
• Stand up and maintain complex systems from scratch.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and architecture.
• Extensive Cisco networking knowledge, including writing switch configurations from scratch and network integration.
• Extensive VMware experience, specifically setting up VMware Horizon and configuring high availability.
• Storage administration experience, including standing up and maintaining systems, preferably Dell storage.
• Proven ability to stand up complex systems from scratch.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with flight or aircraft simulation systems.
• Self-motivated approach to project ownership.
