Description

You will define the technical vision and architecture strategy for DOCSIS, RDK-B/V, and L2/L3 network solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end solutions involving DOCSIS vCMTS, RPDs, CPE, telemetry, and automation infrastructure.
  • Lead technical direction for product evolution and roadmap planning across access and CPE domains.
  • Resolve complex cross-domain problems involving CMTS/vCMTS, provisioning, firmware, and access networks.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal labs to validate new features and assess emerging technologies.
  • Mentor engineering teams and drive best practices for design, automation, and scalable testing.

Required Skills

  • 9+ years of experience in broadband or cable industry architecture and delivery.
  • Deep expertise in DOCSIS (3.0/3.1/4.0), RDK (Broadband & Video), and DAA.
  • Advanced IP network architecture knowledge including L2/L3, routing, switching, traffic engineering, and QoS.
  • Strong command of TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, MPLS, and IS-IS.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-vendor devices including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and Ciena.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, Shell, Robot Framework, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with Ethernet and IP Service (EPL, EPLN, Dedicated Internet) and MEF 2.0/3.0.
  • Knowledge of Y.1731, Y.1564, and RFC2544 testing protocols.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud-native infrastructure including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with telemetry platforms and supporting business KPIs or network performance analysis.
