Description

You will design and implement SD-WAN solutions with a primary focus on VMware Velocloud technology.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure VMware Velocloud platforms, including Orchestrator (VCO) and Cloud Gateway (VCG).
• Execute zero touch provisioning for SD-WAN edge devices and integrate circuits.
• Troubleshoot and optimize network performance across routing and switching layers.
• Apply QoS, MQoS, queuing, policing, shaping, and marking techniques to manage traffic.
• Integrate network security principles and automation tools into existing architectures.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
• Proficiency in VMware Velocloud SD-WAN technology.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols including MPLS, BGP, and OSPF.
• Advanced knowledge of HSRP, GLBP, and VRRP protocols.
• Hands-on experience with switching and network security practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with network automation and orchestration tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSP) to design and implement client solutions.
