You will lead the site survey, analysis, and implementation of new SD-WAN sites and network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform site surveys and prepare technical reports on current device status and recommendations.
- Configure Cisco SD-WAN edge routers, switches, access points, and other network elements.
- Manage SD-WAN templates, control connections, PNP portals, BFD, and IPsec/SIG tunnels.
- Develop and update High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Troubleshoot circuit types including Ethernet, T1/E1, T3/E3, Broadband, and LTE across multiple layers.
- Coordinate bridge calls and engage vendors and customers to resolve complex network issues.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in network architecture and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela is required; Velocloud or Versa is desirable).
- Deep knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN controller elements including vBond, vSmart, and vManage in HA environments.
- Expertise in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, L3VPN/L2VPN, and BFD.
- Proficiency with QoS/MPLS, NetConf, NMS, and OSS/BSS protocols.
- Experience with Cisco cEdge and vEdge router onboarding.
- Knowledge of OMP, DTLS, IPsec, and Secure Internet Gateway tunnels.
- Experience in SD-WAN multi-cloud environments, including Azure ExpressRoute and Cloud OnRamp.
- Competency in LAN/WAN, VRRP, VRF, and network scripting.
- CCNP, CCNP SP (CCIE level knowledge), Cisco, Juniper, or F5 certifications.
Preferred Skills
- Wireless and SD-Access knowledge.
- Experience with SDN/NFV and zone-based firewalls, IPS, AMP, or Umbrella.
