Description

You will design and oversee data networking solutions, managing legacy telco services, broadband circuits, and cloud environments. You own the services lifecycle from strategic planning through operations and financials.

Responsibilities

• Design data networking solutions for broadband, wireless mobile, and cloud infrastructure.
• Perform technology assessments to manage technical debt and develop future roadmaps.
• Lead incident management processes and resolve customer or agency escalations.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts within an outsourcing or shared service model.
• Specify business requirements for network services and oversee operational financials.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network architecture or related roles.
• 3+ years specifying business requirements for network services.
• 3+ years managing commercial broadband circuits (e.g., Comcast).
• 3+ years experience in network incident management and resolution.
• Expertise in wireless mobile phone and data networking services.
• Experience with data and network monitoring technologies.
• Experience with wireless Intune MDM for device configuration.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of cloud networking experience.
• Experience with ThousandEyes network monitoring tool.
• ITIL Foundations certification or experience in State government agencies.
