Description

Architect Cisco-based networking solutions for enterprise customers, owning the design lifecycle from High-Level and Low-Level Designs to solution BOMs and licensing models. You provide technical leadership to engineering and operations teams, ensuring scalability, security, and operational supportability while supporting RFPs and customer presentations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise LAN/WAN/WiFi, data center, and cloud connectivity solutions using Cisco platforms.
• Create detailed HLDs and LLDs, including solution BOMs, hardware quoting, and complex licensing models (DNA, SD-WAN, Enterprise Agreements).
• Review and approve network designs for scalability, security, and operational supportability.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering and project delivery teams, assisting with advanced troubleshooting during high-priority incidents.
• Collaborate with Cisco, distributors, and third-party vendors on solution development and support RFP/RFQ technical proposals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture.
• Expert-level proficiency with Cisco Catalyst Switching, Nexus Data Center Switching, Routing Platforms, and Catalyst SD-WAN.
• Deep knowledge of Wireless Solutions, ISE, and Firepower/Secure Firewall.
• Experience with DNA Center/Catalyst Center and Cisco licensing models.
• Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud connectivity.
• CCNP Enterprise certification (required).
• Familiarity with High Availability design, network segmentation, and managed services (SLAs, ITIL, NOC operations).

Preferred Skills

• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure certification.
• AWS and/or Azure networking certifications.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
