Description

You will lead high-level network planning, architecture, and optimization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical network solutions and define enterprise-wide architecture standards.
• Recommend hardware, software, and infrastructure improvements to optimize performance.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, hubs, and enterprise-grade firewalls.
• Manage and optimize routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
• Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Participate in incident response (CSIRT) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) to ensure security and compliance.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture.
• Expertise in Network Architecture and design.
• Deep knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, and hubs.
• Experience managing enterprise-grade firewall systems.
• Proven ability to conduct capacity planning and performance monitoring.
• Experience with incident response and continuity of operations.
• Ability to ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations.
