Description

You will design and implement network solutions for 9-1-1 systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and business requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, order, and track new network implementations for OSPs and PSAPs using existing AT&T drawings and databases.
• Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards.
• Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies to address technical and business needs.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure network security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network installation and decommissioning issues during replacement projects.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a network architect or in a similar role.
• Experience with legacy 9-1-1 systems and protocols including CAMA, ISDN, T1/T3, ALI circuits, fiber-based network transport, VoIP, and SIP.
• Experience planning and project managing the installation and modification of TDM and SIP circuits.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret and resolve ambiguous situations.
• Technical proficiency with VoIP.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• At least six years of related experience in a 9-1-1 planning role.
• Certifications including CISSP or ENP.
