Description

Design and implement enterprise network and security architectures to meet business requirements and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture based on business requirements and infrastructure technology enhancements.
• Provide expert engineering and operational practices for network and security infrastructure services.
• Partner with internal customers to ensure architectural patterns meet security, standards, and support requirements.
• Identify critical architectural gaps and recommend technical solutions for improvement.
• Direct major technology studies to assess merit, impact, and establish architecture standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network architecture and engineering.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Hands-on experience with WAN technologies: MPLS over mGRE, DMVPN, IPSec VPN, WAN MACSec, and SD-WAN.
• Proficiency with Cisco Nexus hardware (ACI & Nexus Mode), Catalyst 8500, 9k Series, ASR, and ISR series.
• Experience with Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Expertise in Fabric Networking using VXLAN and EVPN.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals: OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Competency with Linux commands and file systems.
• Knowledge of NIST and FedRAMP security requirements.
• Experience leading technical staff and matrixed teams within mission-critical environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IDS/IPS, network access control, and load balancers.
