Description

Own the stability and automation of global network infrastructure, focusing on application delivery controllers and security gateways. You will engineer solutions for complex Layer 1-7 issues while maintaining 99.99%+ uptime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize a large inventory of application delivery controllers including F5, A10, AVI, and WAFs.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across Layer 1-7 and communicate status updates to stakeholders until resolution.
• Automate repeatable infrastructure tasks using scripting languages and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
• Execute change control projects, including load balancer upgrades, SSL/TLS inspection deployment, and cloud migrations.
• Secure applications from malicious traffic using Web Application Firewalls and document topology diagrams and MOPs.

Required Skills

• 9-13 years of experience in network engineering and architecture.
• 5+ years troubleshooting and maintaining application delivery controllers (F5, AVI, A10, Citrix, WAF).
• 4+ years experience with network appliances including switches, routers, firewalls, and proxies.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Switching & Routing.
• Hands-on experience with F5 LTM, GTM (DNS), ASM (AWAF), and SSLO.
• Proficiency in major cloud provider consoles (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CDN solutions like Cloudflare or Akamai.
• Ability to work on-call rotation (1 in 4 weeks, 8am-8pm IST) and support off-hour change windows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with A10 and AVI load balancers beyond F5.
• Background in Shape Bot Protection or advanced bot mitigation strategies.
