Description

You will design, build, and operate automation to accelerate delivery, reduce operational toil, and improve reliability across environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python tooling and scripts to automate operational tasks and orchestrate change workflows.
• Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for predictable, idempotent infrastructure provisioning.
• Create and operate Ansible roles and playbooks for configuration, patching, and compliance baseline enforcement.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD using GitHub, adding validation and plan/apply gates.
• Implement observability for automation, maintaining SOPs and runbooks including rollback and recovery steps.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in an enterprise environment.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on automation experience delivering production outcomes.
• Strong proficiency with Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Practical GitHub experience, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Experience integrating automation with change processes using ServiceNow.
• Comfortable with Linux fundamentals, YAML/JSON, and templating.
• Experience with REST/JSON APIs and idempotent design patterns.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a systematic troubleshooting approach.
