Description

Architect and lead Network DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) strategies for global network operations. Own the roadmap for automation, provisioning, and self-service tooling across property, datacenter, and corporate networks.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Network DevOps/SRE roadmap, establishing standards for service delivery and operational support.
• Drive adoption of DevOps and SRE practices across matrixed teams, simplifying complex network problems with automated solutions.
• Lead architecture for the full infrastructure lifecycle, focusing on proactive self-healing automation to reduce downtime and optimize performance.
• Partner with global technology peers and vendors to resolve service delivery issues and meet strict service level requirements.
• Create technical documentation and present strategies to management, ensuring security, compliance, and governance are maintained.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years in network infrastructure technical leadership.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or SRE oriented teams.
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or Cisco DevNet certification.
• Strong knowledge of WAN, LAN, and datacenter networks, including spine-and-leaf designs.
• Proficiency in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), DNS, NTP, IPv6, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools: Ansible, Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
• Experience managing cross-functional, sourced, or matrixed teams and outsourced suppliers (4+ years).
• Technical knowledge in software-defined networks (SDN) and security design (intrusion detection/prevention).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms: Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Scripting proficiency in Perl.
